Who We Are

 We are Evanstonians who want to keep Chickens (only HENS!!!) legally, so we got together to work on changing the current Evanston ordinance that calls them "nuisances" and prohibits them. Our interests in backyard chicken hens include  chickens-as-pets; delicious-egg-suppliers; chickens as-compost-makers--in short, chickens as another aspect of local food production with entertainment value added.
