Evanston's Backyard Chickens

What We Do

We are in the process of drafting an ordinance allowing chickens in Evanston backyards. With city staff help, we will develop an action plan for writing an ordinance that will be acceptable to the City and to residents.  The plan will also develop a time-line for presenting the ordinance to the City Council and lobbying for its passage.
